Weekly 9 | March 1, 2024

Because waiting for the monthly finds just isn't enough.

It may be post-traumatic stress of bad high school golf outfits, but I just don't love golf polos. This edition of the weekly 9 includes replacements for the polo that are acceptable on the golf course! I'll note below if it's best fit for a public course, private course or both.

A.Putnam Long Sleeve Keyhole Top | $145 - shop

A. Putnam has quickly become one of my favorite golf brands because they create such beautiful staples that have unique features to give your outfit a little something extra. In this case, it's the keyhole back yoke and I would love to wear this in periwinkle. A great layering piece that is perfect for on or off the golf course and is acceptable at both private and public courses.

Foray Golf Mock Neck Sleeveless Top | $100 - shop

Foray Golf is my tried and true brand and this mock neck top fits right into my golf wardrobe. The rib textured material has UPF 50+ protection and and stretchy fabric keeps its shape, even after washing. I have worn this under a blazer too because yes I wear my golf apparel off the course! Acceptable at both private and public courses.

Athleta Flurry Seamless Henley | $79.99 (sale) - shop

I purchased this piece in "spiced cabernet" and I reach for it often. It's soft, breathable and very comfortable, making it a piece that swings easy. I appreciate the henley style because it looks a little sleeker with the buttons. I would wear this at both and public and private course.

Harlow Sport The Everyday Top | $88 - shop

A new brand on the block, Harlow Sport's Everyday Top is one of the four staples in their first collection. This top comes in four colors and extended sizing from XS to XXL, and has UPF 50 protection. They recommend hang-drying it after watching to maintain that butter-soft feel. Good for both public and private golf.

CALIA Women's ReNew Long Sleeve | $48 - shop

A classic crew neckline is always great for athleisure and the course. Since this shirt has mesh slits in it I would say it's a better fit for a public course.

Sierra Madre The Long Sleeve Mock Neck Tee | $44 (sale) - shop

This top has a nice flowing shape which helps when you don't necessarily want to tuck in your shirt. The sleeves have a ribbed cuff and I particularly like the Sage Green color! Overall this top has a relaxed look and feel to make you feel comfortable on the course! Good for both public and private golf, but may be a better fit for public golf if you don't plan on tucking it in.

RLX Tailored Fit Piqué Sleeveless Shirt | $49.99 (sale) - shop

So this top does have a collar but it's a stand collar and passes my no-collar test! It's a classic piece with preppy stripe details and gently tapered silhouette which you don't often find in golf pieces. This piece can be worn at both public and private courses.

Greyson Sleeveless Vesta Mock Neck Top | $39-98 (sale) - shop

This top features a a zippered mock neck collar which is great for adjusting to give you the look you want. It currently comes in six colors and some are on sale! It's a minimalist look that you can pair with any bottoms and I like the thick zipper as a good detail. Perfect for both public and private courses.

adidas go-to crest graphic tee | $43 - shop

I'm a big fan of the design on this tee. We don't get a lot of good retro t-shirts in golf and this one does the sporty collegiate look very well. I'd probably keep this top to the public courses but I'd wear this one around town with biker shorts too!
