fore the ladies finds
volume 3, issue 9
Hi!
I wanted to share an observation I made at this past weekend’s Intro-to-Golf Event in Louisville. We love supporting golf apparel, accessory and equipment brands in this space. But everyone is in a different situation: Maybe you’re brand new to the game, you can’t purchase a new outfit every golf season or maybe a company isn’t size inclusive.
When asking participants for their #OOTD, we saw outfits from Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Amazon, Walmart, Lilly Pultizer, Halara. And they looked fabulous (watch the video here). So while we may share items from golf-focused brands, I think we try to sprinkle in pieces from others stores as well - which you’ll see this month! Anyway, just an observation and I hope you enjoyed my stream of consciousness on that one. Just remember to wear what makes you feel confident, athletic, comfortable and “like you” in all parts of your life.
Okay - let’s get into this month’s finds from me, Brooke, Kristen and Sara!

september finds
vibing
I love the new colorway for this cozy RLX pullover - fun retro vibes for fall. -sara
mixing and matching
It happens every few seasons, one of my headcovers gets lost at the course never to be found. This happened to me recently, so I'm getting new FTL gear. I love mixing + matching and this one definitely adds some glamour! -brooke
layering
I love this green floral vest for a touch of whimsy this fall - and at $35, it's a great price. -kristen
après-ing
The theme to my picks this month is après-golf. I always look like a hot mess after a round, which is pretty unfortunate if I’m headed to brunch, drinks, etc. I’m obsessed with this Deborah Pagani pin that holds my hair back in a messy bun. This pin is the OG (and a bit of a splurge), but I’ve found some dupes too!
I’m not ready for summer to end (I think I may be alone in that?), but I am ready to share our FTL Fall Playlist! This curated list of bops will have you dancing on and off the course all season. I know I will be on a little trip to South Carolina next month! download here
Tri-state area friends! The USGA (United States Golf Association) Museum & Library is hosting a film screening of Playing Through, a movie about Ann Gregory on September 17 at 1 PM. Gregory was the first Black woman to play in a USGA championship at age 44 and won more than 300 golf tournaments throughout her lifetime. Spots are limited so watch the trailer and secure a spot here!
The Mixed Bag podcast has covered the LPGA Tour and women’s golf at every level throughout the 2022 season. Justin and Abby will release another episode this weekend - make sure you’re subscribed (and we always appreciate a rating and review!!). Coming soon to the pod: The next season of Ladies of Golf.

toting
I love the @ironicboatandtote trend - some golf ones we came up with are: divot diva, fore left, GIR, bogey golf, chunked and hack - happy monogramming! -sara
riding
Call me high maintenance, but this is one of my favorite purchases. Stay cool, clean, and dry in all seasons and weather. PS. no more burning the backs of your legs on the hot cart seat. -brooke
wearing
Next on my theme of “apres-golf,” I bring you this Footjoy loafer. Mine just arrived this week and I love. They come in 4 colors and this spikeless shoe has the same sole as some of my other FJ’s that have a more tailored look to them. I can see myself wearing them on The Cradle at Pinehurst to whatever fits my fancy after a round. -abby
recovering
These are made for post-run recovery, but I think if you walk 18 for 4 hours your feet need some rest, too! -sara
