fore the ladies finds
volume 3, issue 3
Hi there!
Happy Women’s History Month. We’re incredibly grateful for each and every one of you for supporting our non-profit organization. I hope you tee it up with some of your female golf friends, introduce another woman to the game and celebrate the progress we’ve made while seeing how much more work can be done.
We’re less than two weeks away from our first golf getaway of 2022 at Pinehurst Resort! We can’t wait to see 48 of you at The Lily for an amazing weekend. By this point in the year, I hope you’ve been able to swing some golf clubs outside, and if not, that time should be coming so so soon.
With that, let’s dive in to the next edition of Fore the Ladies Finds from Brooke, Sara and Kristen!

walking
At the beginning of every season, I take stock of my shoes (just because). Well one pair I’m super excited to wear again are my Foray x TRUE Linkswear shoes, which are built on the lightweight True Linkswear Knit II platform. This shoe is great shoe for a new golfer since it’s very versatile, wears like a sneaker and is perfect for fair weather days on and off the course. AND they’re offering the FTL squad 20% off footwear orders with the promo code: TRUEXFTL20 -abby

all the #content
There’s so much #golfcontent out there these days, so I wanted to share some of the things I’ve been reading, watching and listening to this winter. -abby
This article from Dylan Dethier of Golf.com, after the LPGA Hilton Tournament of Champions (a pro-am stableford event), crushing the argument that “Anyone with a 4 handicap would likely shoot mid 60s from forward tees.” Case in point: “The tournament winner, Danielle Kang, posted four rounds in the 60s. The entire celebrity field combined for zero.” These professional athletes are professionals for a reason. Period.
Keely Levins’s article about Foray Golf’s founder Megan LaMothe. Keely shares Megan’s story, inspiration, driving forces and focus for Foray, a brand near and dear to our hearts.

layering
I received this sweater through work and have been living in it ever since. I can’t wait to wear it on the golf course. Maybe I’ll layer it with a polo or a crew neck underneath? Stay tuned. It’s split on the sides and super flattering. I have it in black but love the grey, too. -abby
preparing
I'm gearing up for Bandon in May (60 days, but who's counting?!) and with the amount of walking we're going to do, I need some bombproof socks. These Feetures are my favorite for running, and are also awesome when you're out strolling a causal 36 holes. -sara
